Today I was reminded of how adorable this video of a kid feeling high after surgery is. But when he almost starts to cry, I feel really bad for him. :(

I had a conversation yesterday about what it means to be TOO empathic and how sometimes we need to learn to be empathic with others, but distance ourselves at the same time. I'm trying to figure out how to do that. Watching this video and not letting myself get all upset is my first step.
